Ray-Ban – the world’s leading eyewear brand, teams up with vida e caffè and some of SA’s best local artists to produce the #lifeandsound CD. The limited edition CD consists of 8 exclusive tracks and will be sold at vida e caffè stores nationwide with all profits going to the Luxottica Group’s OneSight foundation. Ray-Ban, as part of the Luxottica Group, believes that vision care should be a reality for everyone.
Ray-Ban and music have evolved together in time. Icons in music have a long history of making Ray-Ban eyewear a part of their identity and in turn Ray-Ban’s have become a musical icon in their own right. The CD release is a culmination of this strong association and celebrates the unique local flavor through collaboration. The CD will be sold for R50 at vida e caffè’s nationwide from December with all proceeds going to OneSight South Africa.

The eye-care pandemic affects more than half a billion people whose sight could be restored with a simple optical exam and a pair of glasses. The money raised from the sale of the CD will go towards our annual Vision Clinics hosted in South Africa”.
