Can you hear that? Not only is it the sound of wedding bells, but the sound of thousands of hearts breaking all over the world as Johnny Depp and Amber Heard reportedly set to say ‘I do’ this weekend after a yearlong engagement.
The couple are set to get married in an area called Little Hall’s Pond Cay, on a private island in the Bahamas, that Johnny purchased back in 2004.
This will be Depp’s second marriage -he was previously married to make-up artist Lori Anne Allison for four years from 1983, and then had a 14-year relationship – and two kids – with French singer Vanessa Paradis. This will be Amber’s first wedding. While the couple are described as “really happy [and] flirty and cute” by their friends and family, sources close to the pair reveal that all is not as perfect as it seems.
Johnny is finding himself trapped between Vanessa and his Amber – he supposedly sees no need for a prenuptial agreement and this is causing friction between the two women in his life. Vanessa and Johnny have two children together – Jack (12) and Lily-Rose (15) – and when Vanessa found out about Depp’s disinterest for a prenup, she was very, very unhappy. Apparently, Vanessa is concerned because there is $350 million at stake and she wants to ensure that their two children receive a fair inheritance. Essentially, Vanessa fears that that the young starlet will try cash in, if things don’t work out between the pair.
Meanwhile, when Johnny shared Vanessa’s concerns with Amber, we’re told there was another fight he had to deal with with; Amber apparently doesn’t understand why Johnny is still communicating with Vanessa, but more importantly, is concerend that he values her opinion at all.
Let’s hope they get it all sorted before the weekend then!
