Milan’s influencers and philanthropists joined forces this evening as they gathered at the Palazzo Bocconi to celebrate the arrival of the Cash & Rocket 2015 tour in to the fashion capital of Italy.
Guests were welcomed in to a regal paved courtyard filled with creeping vines and a mosaic floor lit by candlelight. In the middle sat two Aston Martins and Maseratis wrapped in the instantly recognizable red vinyl, their engines fully cooled after a long day on the road as the tour travelled from Lyon to Milan.
After climbing a grand staircase flanked by marble walls and a flickering grand candelabra, guests entered an ornate salon space where they drank champagne and danced to a perfect mix of laid back beats selected by DJ Chelsea Leyland. Guests were treated to miniature bowls of seafood risotto topped with a single scallop followed by bite size rich chocolate cake.
CEO and Founder of Cash & Rocket Julie Brangstrup drew guests together as she spoke of her passion for the charities that the tour supports, Sumbandila, OAfrica and Shine On Sierra Leone. So far the Cash & Rocket 2015 tour has raised over £1.4 million pounds for the charities involved and the crowd cheered as the figure was announced.
On Tuesday May 19th the tour will set off on the final leg to Cannes where Chopard will host the final party to celebrate the end of the tour.
