When news broke that Khloé and Lamar had called off their divorce in the midst of Lamar’s hospitalisation following his collapse in a brothel earlier this month, rumours sparked that the couple were going to be giving their marriage another try – after all, Khloé has been unashamedly vocal about her love for Lamar. But where did that leave Khloé’s relationship with current beau, James? Khloé was caught in a catch-22 situation and was going to have to make a choice.
Turns out, at this point, she’s chosen James. ” Khloé and James never broke up. He’s been so understanding and he knows that Khloé ‘s love for Lamar is deeper than what most people can understand,” a source revealed. “He’s been very understanding and supportive. Lamar has a long road ahead of him and Khloé will always have the love she has for Lamar.”
In a recent interview with People, Khloé opened up the complications and demands the situation with Lamar has on her current relationship with James: “He’s been great with me, and I’m just allowing everything to unfold,” she told the magazine. “If it’s ever too overwhelming [for him], then I understand that as well.”

Regarding the divorce, she explains that the two have simply postponed the legal proceedings of the divorce until Lamar is back on his feet and able to cope. ”I pulled back on the divorce because there is no rush for it,” she told People. “For medical reasons and a tonne of other things, it’s just smarter that it’s put on hold. But that does not mean I’m back with Lamar. It’s not even in our brains to think about having a relationship. Only time will tell.”
“You never know what to expect in life,” she goes on to explain. “I had to get there (to support him). All I wanted was for him to be okay… Every hour is different. It goes up and it goes down. Things are progressing, but it’s a very serious situation.”
