Selena Gomez has been taking her new sexy look to a whole new level, especially in her latest video “Hands to Myself” where she flaunts her gorgeous bod.
But there’s so much more to this video than just the sexy factor: Selena takes us BTS of her vid and explains that the real meaning behind the video lies in her wanting to convey the way in which girls romanticise love, build an idea of what it should be and then obsess over it.
“I wanted this video to be two different versions of being in this fantasy,” she clarifies. “I think everyone can have those moments where they’re dreaming of what their life could be, especially girls with love. Being obsessed with the idea, and you can’t control yourself. That’s what you want no matter what’s happening.”
She then adds, “You get to see these images of what people think love is. It’s theatrical, it’s movie-like. And all it ends up being is a false reality on both ends. That’s what I wanted it to feel like.”
