This year’s PSL Awards will be officially hosted by TV personality Minnie Dlamini. Alongside her Soccerzone co-host, Thomas Mlambo, the awards will be broadcast live on SABC 1 on May 30 at 8:30pm.
This marks the 4th time Minnie hosts the PSL Awards, which is an evening dedicated to honouring South African football players, coaches and officials.
”I am honoured for this opportunity,” says Minnie. “I love sports and the PSL Awards is a show that feels like home to me – it’s the Oscars of the football fraternity. I’m grateful for the platform to host the awards for the 4th time. My team and I are planning a spectacular evening.”
The star is known for her brave fashion choices when hosting and attending events, and given that she is teaming up with her stylist Francois Louw, we know that the PSL Awards would be no different.
”We are going chic and less dramatic – the audience will be surprised and very excited,” says Francois.
