From the 24th to the 26th, the Mercury Wine Week is offering Durbanites the chance to sample the country’s best. Not keen on crowds? The wine tasting theatre offers oenophiles a more intimate tasting.
Thriller night
Like Cluedo, but cooler, the folks at Be Part of the Mystery are hosting their monthly whodunnit on 26 August at Simon’s at Groot Constantia in Cape Town. The event will see the restaurant transformed into the Bedlum asylum for the mentally insane. R450 gets you dinner and intrigue aplenty.
Brinner

If you missed the first season of Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry, pull up a chair for the second one, premiering on Tuesday on E! Entertainment (DStv channel 124) at 9 pm. This time round, the 20-year-old clairvoyant with the severe side-parting divines the futures of one of the Kardashians,Tori Spelling and Snooki, among others. It’s so bad, it’s good.
