While we don’t own our own hoverboards, we have heard that manoeuvring that thing isn’t as easy as it seems – it’s all about figuring out the right balance to move and stop seamlessly. We have enough trouble walking without tripping over our own feet as is, so when we saw this video of dancers dancing on a hoverboard, with major, major acrobatic moves on top of it, we almost fell off our uncoordinated chairs. How?

In a routine set to Justin Beiber’s Sorry, and sponsored by Nexboard, dancers Kailey Maurer, Kelianne Stankus, Ciera Wilson, Diana Tatevossian, and Donnakaran Tatevossian fearlessly do handstands and stand on each other’s shoulders.

Selena Gomez has been taking her new sexy look to a whole new level, especially in her latest video “Hands to Myself” where she flaunts her gorgeous bod.

But there’s so much more to this video than just the sexy factor: Selena takes us BTS of her vid and explains  that the real meaning behind the video lies in her wanting to convey the way in which girls romanticise love, build an idea of what it should be and then obsess over it.

“I wanted this video to be two different versions of being in this fantasy,” she clarifies. “I think everyone can have those moments where they’re dreaming of what their life could be, especially girls with love. Being obsessed with the idea, and you can’t control yourself. That’s what you want no matter what’s happening.”

She then adds, “You get to see these images of what people think love is. It’s theatrical, it’s movie-like. And all it ends up being is a false reality on both ends. That’s what I wanted it to feel like.”

Okay, so she’s not that much of a mystery anymore. After almost two months since the Biebs called on his fans to help him find his one-time crush, and even though, sadly, no romance blossomed between the two, Spanish beauty blogger Cindy Kimberly didn’t walk away empty handed: she now has a promising modelling career ahead of her.

Speaking to Whowhatwear.com, Getty Images photographer Steve Granitz (who has photographed the supermodel on numerous accounts) explains the reason her trick works is because it has a dual effect: it slims your features and helps you look younger because it gives your facial features depth. How? It gets rid of any shadows, which can make your face appear wider or larger than what it is.

We love seeing celeb kids grow up after knowing them for so long as little toddlers tottering after their parents and making a name for themselves in the world. Case in point: Dylan Jagger Lee, son of the former Baywatch star and musician Tommy Lee.

Famous fashion house Saint Laurent took to Twitter earlier in the week to announce the 18-year-old as the newest model to walk the runway at the brands’ men’s fall collection at The Palladium in LA next week. In the promo vid for the show, Saint Laurent shows a shirtless Dylan on the shores of Malibu with a surfboard and guitar.

It is a Thriller fan’s dream to see hit novels such as Gillian Flynn’s Gone Girl transition to the big screen, and now The Girl on the Train is joining in.

The hugely popular Paula Hawkin’s novel tells the story from the point of view of Rachel Watson, a unemployed and lonely alcoholic who commutes on the train to London everyday and imagines the lives of a couple she watches through the train windows (who she nicknames Jason and Jess). Rachel soon becomes embroiled in her escapist imaginings, returning home one night covered in blood with the news that ‘Jess’ has gone missing. The story is told from the perspective of three women: Rachel, Megan (‘Jess’) and Anna – the new wife of Rachel’s ex-husband, Tom. Each character brings with it their own take on the same events and a complexity that we must try to simplify.

A few weeks after the announcement of her second pregnancy with husband John Krasinski, Emily blunt was seen donning a pale blue coat during filming, in New York. Blunt, who will be playing the protagonist Rachel, is joined by Rebecca Ferguson as Anna, Justin Theroux as Tom, and Haley Bennet as Megan. While those castings have been confirmed, it is still uncertain who will play Megan’s husband Scott – Suicide Squad’s Jared Leto or Welsh actor Luke Evans.

The movie is directed by Tate Taylor (the Help) with a screenplay adapted by Erin Cressida (the Secretary) and is planned for a 2016 release. We only hope that it is as gripping and as captivating as the novel.

Who you gonna call? Er, Chris Hemsworth. It seems the actor has switched his Norse god hammer for a desk and chair in the upcoming Ghostbusters film.

The remake of the popular 80s film sees four strong women battling the supernatural with the help of their hunky receptionist, played by Chris. The leading ladies are none other than Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. #GirlPower

Even though our feminist hearts beat for this all-female cast, we can’t help but applaud the choice of Hemsworth’s casting, which was revealed last year on social media by the movie’s director Paul Feig.

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have been spotted out together looking all kinds of cosy on various occasions, yet both camps have stayed mum on the status of their romance.

To make things even more obvious, Gigi featured in Zayn’s hot new single, “Pillowtalk”, in which the two are very hands-on and lip-lock for most of the video. And even then, both camps had nothing to say… Until now.

In a recent radio interview, a fan called in with a very cleverly worded question for Zayn: “Was it cool to have your girlfriend in the video?”

Zayn’s oblivious response? “Uh, yeah. That was cool. It was something different,” he shared.

If that isn’t proof enough, one of the show’s co-hosts followed up with an even sneakier question: “No one easier to make out with than your own girlfriend, right?”

Taking Barbie’s Instagram account by storm is none other than ridiculously good-looking Derek Zoolander. The Zoolander figurine, fashioned on Ben Stiller’s model alter ego in the upcoming Zoolander sequel, made a few cameo appearances on Barbie’s Insta feed.

Kimmy’s popular app made $43 million in its first three months (that’s a whopping R681 million, just to give you some perspective), so it only makes sense that Tay wants a slice of the million-dollar pie. Tay also has a good 6 million followers more than Kim, so we have no doubt that the Swifties will be playing till it goes out of style (see what we did there?).

In a statement, Glu Mobile said that they are “Equally committed to designing never-before-seen gameplay elements that utilise Taylor’s unique creativity.”

Glu Mobile will release more details about Tay-Tay’s app later on; the 26-year-old songstress’ app is set to be launched later this year.

Beyoncé’s new single, “Formation”, proves once again why she’s the queen… While we were asleep in SA, Bey released the new song on hubby Jay Z’s music streaming site, TIDAL, on Saturday evening – the night before her Super Bowl half-time performance.

And Bey’s new song is making waves for all the right reasons: the video is among the most politically direct work she’s done in her career, with implicit commentary on police brutality, Hurricane Katrina and black financial power.
