The 46-year-old father of Blue Ivy was at the Super Bowl on Sunday to support wife Beyoncé during her epic half-time performance (ICYMI, watch it here) with Coldplay and Bruno Mars.

During the game, Usher decided to snap up the moment with Bey and Jay on Snapchat. The video shows Usher explaining that he was recording a video for the Snap, to which Jay responds: “I don’t even know what that means.”

Beyoncé’s reaction is just as priceless: flashing her perfect smile for a full ten seconds. (Did she think it was a photo?) They may be one of the most powerful couples on earth, but we kind of love that they’re just that little bit disconnected from the world. #Classic.

According to US Weekly, Khloé Kardashian, 31, and 26-year-old basketball player James Harden called it quits on their relationship a couple of weeks ago. The timing of the reported split ties in with the news (which TMZ broke) that James was spotted at the strip club Ace of Diamonds with Kylie Jenner’s main man, Tyga.

We wouldn’t be surprised if the news is true… they were last spotted weeks ago, plus Khloé has been occupied with helping estranged husband Lamar Odom recover. ICYMI, Lamar recently moved into the same gated community as Khloé, so that she’s close enough to help him.

“When Lamar isn’t in physical therapy, he’s with Khloé. They continue to be closer than ever. No one really knows what will happen with them in the future,” a source told E! News.

Will we be seeing a Lammy and Khlo reunion in the near future? They are still married, after all…

What we noticed, though, is the easy-going fashion, specifically that of Tessa Thompson, who plays the protagonist of the movie. Think subtle vintage-inspired looks with layered textures and minimal, intricate accessories. We know what you’re thinking… Kendall Jenner is not the first person who comes to mind when you think of politics. But if there’s one thing the model-of-the-moment can do, it’s influence the youth, which essentially makes her the perfect candidate for this campaign, don’t you think?

In a statement to Refinery29, the organisation reveals that: “Styling [Jenner] as Rosie the Riveter was a great way to share Rosie’s story and values with younger generations,” Rock the Vote told Refinery29. “Rosie stands for things that are still relatable to women today – gender equality and wage equality are issues that are critical to women who will vote in this year’s presidential election.”

It’s official: J.K. Rowling will be releasing her 8^th book from the Harry Potter Series: The Cursed Child. The best part, we don’t have to wait that long – the book is set to be released the end of July, Rowling announced this morning via her publishing platform Pottermore.

The new book takes the form of a published script from her new stage show Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.  The new book picks up exactly where the Deathly Hallows finished and centres around Harry and Ginny’s son, Albus Severus Potter, who is “struggling with the weight of his family legacy”.

A description of the new volume reads: “It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children. While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes darkness comes from unexpected places.”

The book will be released in a two-part book, and while we would love all of this wizarding glory in one go, a part of us is relieved our Harry Potter dreams get to last just that little bit longer! Eek!

Just over three weeks ago, Tyra Banks announced the birth of her baby son (via surrogate) on Instagram and now the 42-year-old first-time mama is sharing the first pic of her son, York Banks Asla, with us too!

Tyra took to Instagram to share this adorable pic of her with baby York snuggled in a blanket against her chest with the caption: “This is the happiest Valentine’s Day of my life, York, daddy @ericasla and I send you so much love,” she wrote.

It Girl Kim Kardashian has done it again. As much as we wanted to focus on Kanye West’s much-anticipated Yeezy Season 3 show, we couldn’t help but shift focus to Kim’s new platinum blonde. But this isn’t the first time Kimmy has made a dramatic colour change. Remember her platinum lob at the Fall 2015 Paris Fashion Week?

Kim’s new hair had everyone wondering if she dyed it or turned to sister Kylie’s glam room where there are no shortages of wigs. What we do know for sure is that Kim’s new look was put together by hair stylist Tokyo Stylez, the brainchild behind Kylie’s fabulous wig collection. Whether her hair was dyed or just a wig, we do love Kim’s flare for making grand entrances. Step aside, Yeezy Season 3!

Okay, so according to Kanye himself, he’s in $53 million dollars debt. That’s a whopping R8.38 billion to us Saffers.

After releasing his new album, The Life of Pablo, exclusively on Tidal, Kanye took to Twitter to announce the confusing news, “I write this to you my brothers while still 53 million dollars in personal debt… Please pray we overcome… This is my true heart…”

Our Monday Muse is none other than Beyoncé’s prodigy – Sophie Beam. The 16-year-old up-and-coming singer has only just started her journey, but we’re positive only great things are coming her way – and ours.

Signed last year under Beyoncé’s recording company, Parkwood Entertainment, Sophie has already released two singles: Skyline and I Got It featuring rapper Fetty Wap.

“I feel like the luckiest person in the world because I get to have her guidance and feedback, and she is one of the most talented female artists in the world,” says Sophie about Beyoncé.

It is always a pleasure to support our local talents, especially when they look like this! Home-grown twins Andrew and Brian Chaplin started their duo in 2009 in Cape Town, named Locnville. Ever since they have been making great music and winning awards, such as the MTV European Award for Best African Act in 2013, and now their recent single “Grapevine” ranks as number 17 on iTunes Top 20 list.

There are a lot of things we can say about their achievements and how they are representing SA well, but for the purpose of this article we would simply like to say, “Wowza!”. Remember when Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift’s speech at the VMAs in 2009? We all thought it was the beginning of a feud, but then it died down and all was forgotten. But then Kanye dropped his new single, Famous, with a lyrical jab at Tay…

Yeezy’s rap, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why, I made that bitch famous / God damn / I made that bitch famous,” has caused quite a stir. Though Kanye has claimed that Taylor knew about the lyrics and the bizarre lines were her idea, the uproar still hasn’t died down. So what do Swifty’s gang think about Yeezy’s words?

Best pal Selena Gomez remarked, “Everybody has their own opinion. At the end of the day, you can just do what you do.” And in regards to whether Kanye made the pop singer famous, Selena added, “She’s killing it, and she kind of always has been.”

Orange Is The New Black star Ruby Rose showed her support for Tay-Tay with some tweets expressing her distaste for the lyrics and other transgressions involving Kanye.

But the boldest statement against Yeezy was made by Taylor’s brother Austin Kingsley Swift, who posted a video of himself throwing a pair of Yeezy boots into the trash. The gesture was captioned, “Getting a head start on some spring cleaning. Here we go again,” and was liked by both Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift’s bae Calvin Harris.

So, it does seem as though the feud has started up again, and this time we wonder how far it will go.

It’s been 5 seasons of intense medieval drama, each season more and more hair-gripping. While we bite our nails in anticipation and excitement, we are finally given a sneak peek of the 6th season of Game of Thrones!

The teaser trailer is dark and gloomy, and filled with suspense, and it features all the Starks! On episode 42 of season 5, The House of Black and White, Arya Star is faced with a hall of faces, and this hall is revealed in the trailer.

What has us in a ball of confusion, anxiety and eagerness is the dead faces of characters that are still living, including Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).

Which begs the question, “Who will die this time…or is someone coming back?” #Eek!

Game of Thrones Season 6 will start airing in April 2016.

Cultural appropriation is not a new topic when it comes to Kylie Jenner. On Saturday, the youngest KUWTK star showed up and sat FROW at Alexander Wang’s NYFW show donning a high ponytail. But it’s not the ponytail itself that’s causing a stir, it’s the hair she used to create her look that has her on the receiving end of contention.

Instead of using her usual Remi hair weave, Kylie used Yaki – a type of hair specifically used for braiding (or to add length to weaves) by black women around the globe.

According to Afrocare.com, “Yaki (Yaky) hair has more volume, it feels coarser to touch than Silky (European) hair. This effect is created by imparting a very slight crimp to the hair strands during processing.” Essentially Yaki hair is meant to mimic relaxed hair of black women, and the fact that it doesn’t match Kylie’s natural hear is why black women are up in arms about her choice.

Like we said, this isn’t the first time that Kylizzle’s been accused of cultural appropriation. Remember last year when Hunger Games star Amandla Stenberg called Kylie out for styling her hair in cornrows: “When you appropriate black features and culture but fail to use your position of power to help black Americans by directing attention towards your wigs instead of police brutality or racism #whitegirlsdoitbetter,” Stenberg wrote in a comment under one of Jenner’s photos.

After Kanye’s low-blow lyric in his new song ‘famous’ aimed at Taylor Swift in which he raps, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous,” Taylor was yet to respond, until now.

In her acceptance speech for Album of the Year, Taylor said:

“As the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame.

“But if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday, when you get where you are going, you will look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there. And that will be the greatest feeling in the world. Thank you for this moment.”
