Batman or Superman? Even though it’s tough picking between the two heroes, we have to side with Henry Cavill.
The 32-year-old British actor is well known for playing the Man Of Steel, but you can also see him in movies such as Immortals and The Man from U.N.C.L.E, where he shows off his acting skills and, er, good build. He’s also rumoured to be the next James Bond, following another British hottie, Daniel Craig. Until it’s confirmed, we will happily continue to browse through his Instagram.

The 29-year-old actress showed off her baby bump in a black Versace dress when she stepped out on the red carpet at CinemaCon in Las Vegas for the première of the next instalment of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise.
But the burning question now is: who is the father?
Megan filed for divorce from her husband of five years, Brian Austin Green (42), in August of last year, citing “irreconcilable differences”. This was proven again when Buzzfeed shared the news last night that Rihanna has been secretly helping a fan come out the closet.
The fan – who wishes to remain anonymous – shared a series of tweets exclusively with Buzzfeed in the hopes of showing the world just how much Rihanna really cares for her fans.
According to Buzzfeed, when the fan felt hopeless, like he had no one to turn to, he turned to his number-one idol for help. The 28-year-old “Work” singer responded with some solid advice and reminded the fan that he has no reason to be ashamed of his sexuality, plus she checked up on him to see how he was doing.
We love it when celebs use the platform they’ve been given to do good. Not that we ever doubted our allegiance to the navy, but more today than ever we are proudly #NavyOrDie.
Within minutes of finding out Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling were expecting baby number 2, news broke that Ryan and Blake are also soon-to-be parents of another baby.
Like Eva, US Weekly reports that Blake was spotted covering her bump on the set of her new film. And like Eva and Ryan, the married couple hasn’t yet commented or released an official statement.

Hey girl, we’re having another baby!
It’s official – Ryan Gosling, 35, and Eva Mendes, 42, are expecting baby number 2, according to E! While the couple has not yet commented, sources tell E! that the actress is already in her second trimester.
The notoriously private couple already have one baby together, daughter Esmerelda Amada Gosling who is 1 and a half years old and who we’re yet to see a pic of – seriously, any time now guys!
According to US Weekly, who first broke the news of Mendes’ second pregnancy, the mother-of-one was reported to be hiding her growing baby bump during a photo shoot back in Feb.

Lucy Hale (better known as Aria from Pretty Little Liars) posted a meme to her own Instagram account of a girl with the description: “If Lucy Hale and Kylie Jenner had a child it would look like this.” Lucy aptly captioned the pic, “WHAT. Is this a real person or morphing?”
Well, Lucy, turns out she is a real person and her name is Kelsey and she has quite a big following on Instagram, so we’re not surprised that her uncanny resemblance to both stars was noticed and started making the rounds on the internet.

The first season of Khlo Money’s show Kocktails With Khloé has come to an end and, of course, the youngest Kardashian sister has saved the best guests for last. In a sneak peek of the show’s finale, we see that Khloé’s guests include Kim, Kanye, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend.
First off, anything with Chrissy Teigen in is bound to be a hoot; the woman is classic and has no filter – we love her!
The biggest surprise of the show has to be Kanye showing off his funny and charismatic side. When asked what made him buy his first cell phone, he replied: “I got a phone because someone decided they wanted to marry Kris Humphries.” LOL!
Chrissy then pipes us, “I actually totally forgot that happened.” Classic. Kris who?
In a separate clip, Kim opens up on the sibling relationship between North and baby brother Saint. Clue: North was not impressed with Saint getting all the attention during his feeds, but she soon gives in… It’s totally cute.
Chrissy Teigen (30) and John Legend (37) welcomed their baby girl, Luna Simone Stephans, last week Thursday. Chrissy took to Instagram to give us a sneak peek of her new bundle of joy with the caption, “Hi my Lulu!”
Chrissy, who has been open about her fertility struggle said, “I’ve made this decision. Not only am I having a girl, but I picked the girl from her little embryo. I picked her and was like, ‘Let’s put in the girl.’
“I think I was most excited and allured by the fact that John would be the best father to a little girl. That excited me,” she explains. “I think he deserves a little girl. I think he deserves that bond.”
Chrissy and John are planning on giving baby Lulu a younger brother one day, and Chrissy says, “A boy will come along. We’ll get there too. But John definitely is very lucky to have a little girl. And this girl is going to be so completely lucky to have John as her papa – it’s crazy!”

Singer and pop icon Prince was found dead at his Paisley Park, Minnesota home and was later pronounced dead at 10:07am yesterday. He was only 57 years old. Known as one of the music leading musicians of our time thanks to his innovative sound, Prince touched the entire world through his music, eclectic fashion and flamboyant presence. Beyoncé has once again proved she’s queen by dropping an entire album with accompanying visuals – and it’s pure Bey magic.
Here’s a breakdown of everything you need to know about Lemonade:
Why is the album called ‘Lemonade’?
In “Freedom”, Beyoncé includes a home video of Jay Z’s grandmother Hattie’s 90th birthday party, in which we learn the origin of the album’s title. At the end of a speech, Hattie says: “I had my ups and downs, but I always find the inner strength to pull myself up. I was served lemons, but I made lemonade.”
The storyline
This visual album is one of Beyoncé’s most honest albums, in which she openly sings about infidelity and reconciliation. A number of music videos accompany a journey of emotion by chapter titles like “Intuition”, “Denial”, “Apathy”, “Emptiness” and “Resurrection”.
The beginning sees Beyoncé questioning her marriage. “Are you cheating on me?” she openly asks. Her emotions then escalate from objection to anger when she states: “They don’t love you like I love you” to “I’m gonna fuck me up a bitch” to “You ain’t married to no average bitch, boy”.
And just when you think this is Beyoncé announcing a divorce, the tone and message of the album shifts towards a reunion: “We’re gonna heal. We’re gonna start again.”
But Beyoncé doesn’t just use this album as a sounding board for her marriage, she uses it to take a political, racial and cultural stand, as seen in the strong imagery connected to the Black Lives Matter movement. She also talks about the experience of being a black woman, in which she includes a snippet of Malcom X’s 1962 speech: “The most disrespected person in America is the black woman.”

Beyoncé also called on high-powered female celebs to help her make an impact. However, this isn’t another typical Hollywood girl squad, instead it’s more like a gathering of strong black women whom Beyoncé respects and admires for the difference they are making in the world with their #blackgirlmagic.

According to The Juice SA, a source has revealed that Mariah Carey is already living up to her infamous diva status. Her demand of choice this time? That Table Mountain’s lights be switched on and shine purple during her CT performance, which kicks off tonight.
Another source revealed that Mariah wants the lights to be a tribute to singer Prince who unexpectedly died last week.
According to a report by The Mercury Table Mountain’s floodlights can be turned on in cases where the cause is of “particular cultural, historical or traditional significance for the people of Cape Town or South Africa”. (The Juice)

This week will forever be known as the week that Beyoncé broke the internet every day for a week. Queen Bey dropped Lemonade on Saturday and people still cannot stop: a) talking about it; b) guessing who “Becky with the good hair is”; c) commenting about their favourite song off the album; and d) speculating on the Jay Z cheating rumours.
No doubt Lemonade is one of Beyoncé’s most raw and emotionally open albums. And since the album’s release, Bey has stayed mum on who Becky is, as well as those cheating rumours she so vigorously sang about. Until now. Spoiler alert: she’s got nothin’ but love for her boo thang.
Speaking on stage last night in Miami, the first night on the first leg of her Formation world tour, Bey gave Jay a shout-out when she dedicated her 2008 hit Halo to her husband: “I want to dedicate this song to my beautiful husband,” she said in front of thousands of screaming fans. “I love you so much.”
According to The Mirror, Jay watched the entire show from the wings of the stage.
Bey also spoke about daughter, Blue, saying: “We were driving to rehearsal today and she said ‘Mummy, are we going to your work?’ And it reminded me that I dreamed of this day my whole life.”
Local acting star Sharlto Copley said ‘I do’ to model Tanit Phoenix, who dazzled in a gorgeous Vatana Watters gown, in an intimate ceremony held in the Western Cape. Here, in a world exclusive interview, the happy couple share their big day with us…
Sharlto, how did you pop the question?
I flew Tanit to a private waterfall on the Hawaiian island of Kauai – it’s that incredible waterfall Spielberg used in the first Jurassic Park. We landed at the base of the waterfall, and I surprised her.
Sounds lovely. A massive congrats on your wedding day! Tanit, was it as magical as it looked?
Yes. It felt like our own fairy tale come true. I wanted the reception venue to feel like we were enveloped in a magical forest with lots of green leaves, white flowers, moss, wood, candles and bare hanging bulbs. We had a magician and caricaturist entertaining our guests, and a flamenco guitar player performing all evening.
Where exactly did the wedding take place, Sharlto?
On top of Matroosbergmountain in the Hex River mountain range – we had to charter helicopters to get there. We selected the perfect spot surrounded by wild flora with the sun setting behind us. It was just us, the priest and the photographer.
That’s so intimate…
We are both nature lovers and wanted to get married privately. After we exchanged vows, we flew back to Overture at Hidden Valley for the reception where our guests were waiting.
Were there any celebrities at the wedding, Tanit?
We wanted to keep the wedding intimate and small, so we only had 41 guests. We only invited our closest friends and family.
Sharlto, where did you go on honeymoon?
We went to two different islands in the Maldives.
How divine. We have to ask: will we hear the pitter-patter of little feet any time soon?
Tanit: I can’t wait to fall pregnant and be a mom to beautiful babies. All in good time.
Sharlto: If she wants them beautiful I hope they get mom’s genes. [Laughs.]

It’s day one for our fabulous new editor, Zanele Kumalo! We ask her to answer ten of our team’s burning questions…
I have three sisters, one older and two younger. It means I grew up with a ready-made support structure, with best friends, cheerleaders and critics around me 24/7. It’s crazy whenever we’re all together because everyone talks at the same time, with strong opinions, and we’re all obsessed with music, art, writing, travel, food, language and fashion. Sometimes it feels like one head with four different hearts and bodies… Or the converse. But I love it!
Cute! My social media handle is misszan, so I’ll stick with that.
I do, I do. My sister Zodwa Kumalo-Valentine and I sometimes play together at private events, but I also play separately from her. Whatever works. She started spinning at varsity and I picked up the baton after falling in love with vinyl a decade ago. The first gig we played together was at a 24-hour music festival called Littlegig.co.za in February, and now we play regularly at our new space, Town, which is a dim sum and beer bar in Workshopnewtown at Newtown Junction Mall. We play a mix of disco, hip-hop, vintage and electro R&B, chill and vocal house and jazz. She’s more down- and I’m more up-tempo.
I dress according to my mood. Sometimes I enjoy a more tailored uniform – give me navy, camel, beige and black – and other times I just want to play with items from designers/brands like Stella Jean, Maki Oh, Duro Olowu and See by Chloé. I’d say I get most of my inspiration from Instagram and Pinterest but a lot of the time I’ll walk past someone who looks interesting and think, “Ooh, I’m going to try that next!” After watching the latest season of House Of Cards, I need Claire Underwood’s Louboutin sky-high heels in black and nude – aren’t they called So Kate’s?
I’m a M.A.C girl, so a matte lippie in either a deep red or orange – and a small bottle of my favourite scent.
The afternoons and evenings are all about welcoming friends and guests to Town. I’ll use the morning to catch up on errands but I should go gallery-hopping more often because that feeds my soul. Shopping I leave for weekday evenings.
I would love to say Podcast! But it’s probably WhatsApp and Evernote.
The Fishermen by Chigozie Obioma. I was drawn to it because it’s about four brothers, and the writer is Nigerian – they are incredible storytellers.
Recently it was Making A Murderer and The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst. After binging on the first season of the podcast series Serial, I can’t get enough of murder mysteries. I’m also a huge fan of Master Of None, Girls and Dineo’s Diary.
We won’t be together unfortunately, so I’m getting her a voucher so she can pamper herself somewhere special.
