During an interview on CliffCentral this week, Euphonik opened up about his relationship with former girlfriend Bonang Matheba.
“I don’t hate her,” the DJ told Gareth Cliff. “We had our time. It was great when we were together, but would I go back there? No. Have I moved on? Yes. Has she moved on? Yes. Am I bitter? No.”
He then continued to say that even though they have moved on, the two are not on speaking terms. “I don’t speak to her. There’s no interaction, so it wouldn’t be awkward [if I had to bump into her at an event]. It would be like ‘I’m here and I know what I’m here for in my capacity,’” he added.

The couple seem to have patched things up after a fight led to Rob Kardashian deleting all traces of Blac Chyna from his Instagram account.
According to a source, Rob and his fiancée have been getting into little “tiffs” and Chyna flipped, causing the reality star to delete pics of her from his social media. However, the couple are back on good terms. “They have spoken about their fight,” the source added.
To further show that all is good between them, Blac and Kim Kardashian shared a Snapchat video of them at Kim’s grandmother’s 82nd birthday celebration on Tuesday night. In the video, the two are cradling the 28-year-old’s pregnant belly, saying, “Hey Guys. It’s going down in San Diego tonight.”
TERRY PHETO RECEIVES SERIOUS BACKLASH
As part of her Mandela Day 67 minutes, local actress Terry Pheto revealed that she would be buying 67 copies of the Destiny magazine issue for which she graced the cover and donating them to disadvantaged girls.
Twitter users were unimpressed, calling it a PR stunt and saying that the gesture was an insult to poor people:
67 packs of sanitary towels would have cost #Terrypheto a lot less than those magazines and the pr would have been phenomenal #facepalm — BooksbyTumeloMolelek (@MolelekiTumelo) July 24, 2016
After the online backlash, Terry told Sowetan Live that she was shocked by the response she got, as all she wanted to do was to inspire disadvantaged girls to realise that their dreams are achievable. “Through my story, they will get to understand that growing up in a disadvantaged background does not stop you from dreaming.”
Kristen Stewart opened up about her current romance with film producer Alicia Cargile in an Elle magazine interview.
“Right now, I’m just really in love with my girlfriend,” Kristen said. “We’ve broken up a couple of times and gotten back together, and this time I was like, ‘Finally, I can feel again.’”
Known for keeping her relationships private, the 26-year-old actress decided to talk about Alicia, so that people do not think she is “ashamed” about being in a relationship with a woman.
“I was like, ‘Actually, to hide this provides the implication that I’m not down with it or I’m ashamed of it, so I had to alter how I approached being in public,” Kristen said.
She further explained how easier it is to admit she is in a relationship with a woman than it is with a man.
“When I was dating guys, I was hiding everything that I did because everything personal felt like it was immediately trivialised, so I didn’t like it,” she explained. “We were turned into these characters and placed into this ridiculous comic book, and I was like, ‘That’s mine. You’re making my relationship something that it’s not.’ I didn’t like that.”
Kirsten’s more candid approach, she said, is working for her.
A month ago, Sadiq Khan, the mayor of London, moved to ban ads from the city’s transport network that demean women and “make them ashamed of their bodies”. A few weeks ago, a model was suspended from the radio show she hosts and barred from the gym she attends – as well as any of its other branches – after she fat-shamed an unsuspecting woman getting changed post-workout on Snapchat. More recently, international style bloggers and fashion designers including Freddie Harrel, Susie Bubble and Hana Tajima joined a campaign to #SaySomethingNice to combat body-shaming.
Our two cover stars, Lerato Kganyago and Boity Thulo, and a few other personalities are taking a stand as part of the same movement, particularly after having been targets of abuse themselves. They share their thoughts on pg 12. We have to stop the cyberbullying and constant denigrating of each other’s bodies. Most of us are taught that if you can’t say something nice, then don’t say anything at all. We seem to have forgotten our manners…
Of course, Grazia runs its popular fashion jury pages (pg 44), but it’s not about humiliating women for their size or weight. We know there can be a fine line between commenting on someone’s fashion choices and attacking them for the way their body looks. Call us out if you ever feel we cross it. And don’t forget to tell us what you want from your favourite weekly glossy – you could win a prize. Visit Graziadaily.co.za for more info.
Kanye West is a massive fan of his wife’s nude selfies. The 39-year-old rapper views Kim Kardashian’s pictures as a modern work of art. In a Harper’s Bazaar interview, Yeezy said: “I love her nude selfies. Like, I love the ones from the side, the back ones, and the front. I just love seeing her naked; I love nudity. And I love beautiful shapes. I feel like it’s almost a Renaissance thing, a painting, a modern version of a painting. I think it’s important for Kim to have her figure. To not show it would be like Adele not singing.”
He then admitted to sending nude selfies before he settled with Kim. “You’d get a good dick pic here and there. Gotta keep it rock ‘n’ roll. It’s all about scale. You don’t become a rock star for no reason.”
During the interview, the recent feud between the couple and Taylor Swift was also subtly brought up when they were asked if they have a favourite Taylor song. The power duo both insisted they do not…
Kanye said: “For me? I don’t have one.” While Kim said, “I was such a fan of hers.”
Yikes!
CELINE DION MAKES AN AFRICAN SINGER GO VIRAL
Celine Dion made an aspiring young Gabonese singer’s homemade music video go viral when she posted it on her Facebook page.
The video features 17-year-old Samuel performing a rendition of Celine’s The Power Of Love while sitting barefoot on a staircase in the country’s capital, Libreville. The video was picked up by a prominent Gabonese blogger and viewed a million times before the French/Canadian superstar posted it on Tuesday evening – doubling the views overnight to 2.3 million.
“Samuel, your talent is as big as your voice. I’m touched my songs have travelled all the way to you and hope we have the chance to meet one day,” Celine wrote on Facebook. “May all your dreams come true. Keep singing like you do. When music comes from the heart, it knows no borders!”
As Samuel comes from a poor family, he has never taken any singing lessons and had to leave school early. He told French news agency AFP that he was “overwhelmed and very surprised” by the post and message from his idol and hopes that one day they will meet.

Rockville actress Ayanda Thabethe and her boyfriend, Vuzu presenter and rapper Dash, are known for keeping their relationship private, but now it seems the pair is sharing more with the public.
Even though their Instagram pics continue to tease us with “hidden bae” tactics, it is clear to see that they are head over heels in love with each other.
In this week’s Grazia, TV personality LootLove joins cover stars Boity Thulo and Lerato Kganyago, and blogger and photographer Thick Leeyonce for our anti-body shaming campaign.
LootLove knows all about body shaming as she’s been subjected to harsh criticism herself. But we can’t understand why anyone would not love the beauty – her Instagram feed features amazing selfies, stylish OOTD moments, and striking images captioned with motivating messages about self-love. Plus, her haircut is giving us serious envy vibes.
Though the Teen Choice Awards are known for their laidback and fun approach, this year’s event featured two serious and life-motivating moments.
Jessica Alba and Neyo on gun control
Jessica Alba and Neyo took to the stage to speak on the matter of gun control. Alba stood on stage alongside ten teens whose family has been affected by gun violence. Each teen, including Alton Sterling’s son, announced their names and the name of the family member who lost their life due to gun violence. This was then followed by a touvhing performance by Neyo, where he sang a rendition of “What’s GoingOn”.
The honouring moment ended with the actress and singer asking the viewers to take the photo of the group and post it on social media alongside the tag #StopTheViolence.
Justin Timberlake gives wise advice
After receiving the Decade Award, Justin Timberlake went on stage to give a pretty inspiring speech. The singer started off by quoting the late Muhammed Ali then continued to give cues on how teens all over should spend their youth:
“You will make mistakes along the way, I have many times, but what we do after that fall is how we make history because impossible is nothing…” JT explained. “Be nice to your parents—I hope my son watches this someday. They aren’t perfect either, but they’ve been through this movie before, and they love you more than you can imagine.”
With that said, everyone left as a winner that night, but if you would like to see who left with actual awards, find the list of winners here.
Today marks the day that the man who portrayed Khal Drago on the famed series Game of Thrones was born. 37-year-old actor and model Jason Momoa has been captivating us from day one, and now he embarks on his biggest role yet: superhero Aquaman in the upcoming exciting movie Justice League. The big hit includes heroes such as Superman, Batman, the Flash and Wonderwoman, and created quite the anticipation after releasing its first teaser trailer at this year’s Comi Con convention.
The hot tall Hawaiian native is this week’s man crush, and we simply cannot wait to see him on the big screen again!
The Teen Choice Awards 2016 clearly had a hairdo memo that celebs adhered to. It was braid invasion at the fun event, and these beauties rocked the look best:
Shay Mitchell
Just when you thought Shay was rocking a plain top bun, she turns around and wows everybody with a braid glammed up with metal rings.

At first glance the starlet seems to be rocking a cute milkmaid braid, but then you notice the reddish-velvet colour woven into her braid. Verdict? We love!
This Kylie Jenner fan definitely ranks at number one after having her new eyeshadow logo tattooed on his arm. But this isn’t the only King Kylie ink that he has… He also has her lip kit logo as well as her colour palette tattooed on his arm.

Welcome to the world of age-nostics – where age rules no longer apply. It’s happening all around us – those 20-somethings playing Scrabble online, starting knitting clubs and joining quilting drives for good causes? The 60-year-old who is always at the front of the yoga class? Age-nostic, the lot of them. We asked three media personalities to explain why the so-called “rules” of middle age no longer apply, and this is what Kuli Roberts had to say:
“People only have to look at my Twitter timeline to realise that there is nothing I used to enjoy doing as a youngster that I have given up doing as I grow older. My aim has always been to live without expectations and enjoy every moment, so age is not a threat. Some of my interests have changed over the years, but 90 per cent are still the same, as I have never followed any prescribed manual on how to look or act at a specific age. I just do me (so well, too!) – at any age…”

SuperSport presenter Crystal Arnold touched down in Rio last week for the 2016 Summer Olympics. Here she tells Grazia about her first impressions of Brazil:
My base during this Olympic Games is in the heart of the Copacabana, and that means that the four kilometre stretch of pristine Rio waterfront is a short walk away. And, if you’re up to living the Carioca lifestyle, a jog with the locals on any given morning is a great start to the day.
From one end of the Copacabana to the other, all you see is the Olympics – from sand sculptures on the beach to the Rio Olympic megastore and the massive Olympic rings just outside the store (a perfect spot for a selfie. And, yes I did). Vendors are selling flags and replica Olympic torch souvenirs, all while stepping to a samba beat because there is a rhythm and music pulsating all the way down the Copacabana. It’s infectious and exhilarating.
In truth, the media hotel is just a pit stop to sleep at, in between sampling the local flavour of Rio and the non-stop nature of the Olympic Games’ events. The biggest benefit of a media hotel is that you’re close to the major transport hubs. All media have the freedom to access public transport. But the most important bus is the blue bus with Olympic accreditation – it travels in that special Olympic Lane, which bypasses Rio traffic that more than rivals Joburg’s traffic jams.
My favourite aspect of the Olympic Games is not only seeing the determination and focus of the world’s top athletes first hand, but, for sports media, this is also a chance for a reunion of sorts. I’ve made lifelong friends in the battle zone – we call the mixed zone – it’s an area with a view of the Olympians in action and as soon as they complete their event, they have to pass through the hundreds of media houses’ representatives all jostling for that clincher interview with the Olympic champion.
It’s a cutthroat, but there’s always respect and that means while I’ll fight for my interview, we can still hang out when the event is done. I have formed great friendships with volunteers and sport broadcasters from all over the world: USA, France, UK and Australia to Sky New Zealand’s Scotty Stevenson – who I get to see more often than most. I have great memories of partying with crews in Beijing’s karaoke bars on the last night of the Olympics in 2008 and sharing an amazing dinner at Jamie Oliver’s Barbacoa before the closing ceremony in London.
It’s also a reunion for the athletes. It’s great to get to see friends/rivals in a setting so unique – The Athlete’s Village. This year the Rio Olympic Games village can house 17,950 athletes and technical staff. There are 31 buildings and 3604 flats. What I can say is that the SA team have not had the negative experience of other nations and, judging from their reaction, they are feeling right at home in Rio!
The mood of an athlete’s village is unlike any other. It’s so surreal to have more than 10 000 super-humans in one location. Imagine watching Cameron Van der Burgh bumping into the All Blacks’ Sonny Bill Williams and stealing a selfie. Where else could that happen?
Through the years there have also been some infamous parties as athletes celebrate after their events and celebrate even harder after gold medal success. But, what happens in the village stays in the village…
When an event shows heart it crosses the boundary of being just entertainment and Team Refugee’s inclusion is not just historic it’s the essence of the Olympic Games. Just thinking about the extraordinary adversity they’ve had to overcome makes me emotional. I hope that their participation, which in itself is an achievement to be proud of, turns the spotlight on the very real fact that there are still 65 million refugees in the world.
Sometimes it gets a bit crazy trying to keep up with all the rich and famous peeps. So, in case you missed out, here are the biggest moments you need to know about today:
RIHANNA HEADLESS STATUE
Rihanna used Snapchat to post a pic of her posing alongside a huge figurine of her body at the Berlin Biennale Kunst-Werke Institute in Berlin. RiRi modelled with the headless statue, created by Juan Sebastián Peláez, imitating the pose.
It’s not every day you see a huge, half-naked statue of yourself.
AMBER HEARD TO DONATE HER FULL SETTLEMENT TO CHARITY

Other cities include Toronto, London, Berlin, Singapore, Amsterdam, two Australian cities and several in the USA.
CASTER SEMENYA WINS AGAIN
SA rejoiced when Caster Semenya won the women’s 800m heat race and qualified for the semi-finals.
She’s now that one step closer to bringing home the gold medal. The Olympian will be running the 800m finals on Sunday August 20.
AKA AND BONANG TAKE THE ULTIMATE TEST

They were asked a series of questions, from their favourite colour and holiday destination to celebrity crushes and other interesting facts – and it was super cute.
